What is WordPress?

What is a WordPress theme?
A WordPress theme is a ready-made design you apply to your WordPress site. WordPress allows you to apply different designs (or themes) without affecting the content of your site. Themes offer you a low-cost alternative to hiring a web designer!
Can I use your themes on my free WordPress.com hosted account?
Our WordPress themes only work on self-hosted WordPress installations found at WordPress.org. If you currently use a free account at WordPress.com, please do not purchase our themes as they will not work on your site.
Do your themes work on other publishing platforms (i.e. Joomla, Pligg)?
At this time, our themes are only compatible with WordPress installs.

How do I purchase a theme and when/how will I receive it?
When you’ve decided on a theme, simply click the “Purchase” button and you will be taken to the checkout page. From there, you will enter your billing and payment information. Once payment is complete, a download link for your theme will be emailed to you immediately.
What payment types do you accept?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.
What is included with my theme purchase?
Along with your WordPress theme, you will receive a detailed instructional handbook and any PSD files included with your design.
Will my theme purchase include PSD files?
Absolutely! If graphics were created for your theme using Photoshop, all PSD files will be included with your purchase.
Do you offer support?
Yes. Once you purchase a theme, you will have an opportunity to join our Support Forum where you can get immediate help with any issues or questions. Please see our Support Policy for more information.

Do your themes work with the latest version of WordPress?
Yes, every theme is tested for the latest version of WordPress.
Can I change the language of my theme?
At this time we do not offer language localization. In order to change the language of your theme, you will need to customize the template files. However, we do plan on offering this feature in the future. If you would like to help translate our themes, please contact us.
Are your themes cross-browser compatible?
Yes. Our themes are tested on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. We even test them for IE 6!
How often are your themes updated?
We update our themes when:
- we discover a bug
- we add new features
- a new WordPress version is released
How do I update my theme if I have an older version?
Every theme comes with a changelog.txt which records all changes made. If you have not modified your theme files in any way, you may simply replace all of your files with the latest version. If you have modified your theme files, simply view the changelog.txt to see which files need updating.
ALWAYS backup your WordPress install, database and theme files before installing themes or plugins.
Will your themes work with my WordPress plugins?
Most plugins should work just fine with our themes. However, we cannot guarantee plugin compatibility as plugins are considered third-party software.
We always enjoy receiving feedback about incompatible plugins. Simply let us know about it our Support Forum. If the plugin in question is a commonly used one, we may look into the issue.
Do your themes work with WordPress Multi User (WPMU)?
Our themes should be compatible with WPMU, though they were not created for it and therefore compatibility is not guaranteed.
Are there any system/software requirements for using your Themes?
Our themes require you to have a Self-Hosted WordPress install. This means you will need a web host, domain name and WordPress installed on your server. We always recommend learning how to use an FTP Client (like Filezilla), though this is not required.

Can I use your themes on more than one WordPress install?
Yes, you can use our themes on an unlimited number of domains.
Are there any theme restrictions?
You may use your Simply Fresh Theme as many times as you would like, on as many domains as you wish. You receive lifetime access to your theme (updates and new releases) as well as our Support Forum.
Our only restriction is you may NOT sell our themes.
Can I remove your credit in the footer?
Absolutely. However, we do include an easy Theme Option where you can add an affiliate link to our credit and begin earning 50% commissions! Learn more about our Affiliate Program
Can I use your themes on my clients’ websites?
Absolutely! Our themes make it easy for a web designer to offer quick turnaround for their clients. Feel free to use our themes as is or customize them for your clients.
Support will only be offered to the customer who purchased the theme(s).
Can I sell websites using your themes?
Yes, please feel free to use our themes on turn-key websites or a website of your own which you plan to sell. Our only restriction is you may NOT sell our themes.
Can I modify your themes?
Please feel free to modify any element of our themes, be it images, code, PSD files, layouts, etc. We make sure our CSS is easily managed and edited through organization and notes.
